COMMONWEALTH Midnight Lute is a monster and very difficult to go past. Although he has not beaten older his A game drowns these. Named after a recruiting coup by Arizona coach Lute Olson, Real Quiet 4yo has been working as well as horses can work. Prado replaces Espinoza (who has a very full plate in Arcadia) and a wide trip this oval an advantage.

Blue Grass Street Sense is head and shoulders above this class but may be a bit vulnerable today. Carl shipped him to Keeneland to work before last years Futurity and after both the work and the race; both he and Calvin said he did not like the surface. Amid all the prattle that he will have only two Derby preps, it seems more difficult to win here than in Louisville in three weeks. The upsetter could be Dominican who has a stride made for poly and is undefeated on the surface. He sat comfortable at Turfway then drew away smartly, and although he picks up big weight, he figures a good stalking trip and will assume the lead when Tueflesberg stops. Including Great Hunter as well who has never been off the board and since the hood came on has improved each out.

Oaklawn Went four deep with no real conviction, Chatham, Angel Smoke, Champagne Slew and Wellofaprize.

Arkansas Derby Delighful Kiss is a deep closer in a race with tons of on paper speed. If Pletcher and Lukas set lively splits 'Kiss can run down the way overbet Curlin. "Kiss a homebred from a venerable farm has improved each and every start and his last three with Lasix he has shown a very powerful finish. Two back he slapped Sightseeing and Chelokee and in his last after a bad start he flew home against the big horse. Major rider relief, continued sharp works, a cushy post and four big pounds from something to five favorite. Call it 7/2,4,7/1,6,8,10/ 1 Good cappin. BBB
