Compared to the other first quarters on the card, it was molasses.
The bottom line is Deadly Dealer is faster, so in order to win, Flying First Class is going to have to (a.) learn how to rate, (b.) hope Deadly Dealer starts wilting late, (c.) navigate an extra 1/16 after spitting the bit six furlongs into the race last time and (d.) hold off Curlin and the other closers late.
I think he's a toss.
