John Shirreffs TOOK THE BLINKERS OFF Tiago today, as he said earlier this week that he thought he had figured some things out with this curious colt. Blinks off meant he was going to be far more relaxed early in the race and simply come with the one run that is naturally to his liking. As a son of Pleasant Tap, he was sure to like the added distance as well, and all that added up to what you saw today.
A pace meltdown.. natural stretch runner getting a set-up.. ran them all down when everybody else up front completely stopped running... Viola.

Steve, what has this horse done up to this point to be looked at as a play in this race.Nothing ! Is he really a horse you would key on top ? Or over your top plays ?
