I agree with your first sentence, but disagree with your second one. He didn't do anythig
wrong but I don't think he exactly did anything
right. Seems like a one-speed plodder to me. Now that doesn't mean he can't be a fairly effective one-speed plodder, but I cetainly don't like his chances against Ravel in the Santa Anita, or Circular Quay in the Wood, or whatever his next start will be.
