This would be my guess. A few days before the WC they will say that it will not be good to run the horse in the WC because of this set back, so the best thing to do for all concerned will be to retire him. I have had a hunch for a long time that we would never see this horse compete at ten furlongs.

Maybe they will prove me all wrong, but I don't think so.

Train him up to the world cup race? Come on now.
