You're right Hoss about how once in a lifetime Eminem is. But it doesn't stop the industry from herding out Bubba Sparxx (who's god awful) and Paul Wall who's hit or miss, but couldn't hold a candle to Eminem.
But tough to blame the industry when a song like "BOOTY BOOTY BOOTY BOOTY ROCKIN EVERYWHERE!"... it's so terrible, but it's a chart-topper and is in regular rotation on Hip Hop and Top 40 radio stations. I don't understand listeners tastes these days when it comes to hip hop. White or Black or in between, so much of it is horrible even compared to 5 years ago. But Hip Hop is more popular than ever, so I must be out of touch.
I will say this though- I GUARANTEE THE WHITE RAPPER SHOW WILL HAVE MUCH MORE TALNTED MC's on it next year. The exposure is there, and so many more aspiring White MCs will know about it now. Just look at the volution of shows like Project Runway and Top Chef. Once the show it the airwaves, a lot more people knew about it and tried out for it, and subsequently more talent gets on the show. I'm not saying that the next Eminem will make an appearance on there, but the overall level of talent will be better.
