I imagine it would be even higher at Portland Meadows (though you'd still get killed because of the purses). There is a HUGE disparity even between those two tracks and most of the horses who run at PM from the Emerald meet are only maidens and horses entered in N1Y races at Emerald. A $6,250 or $8K claimer at PM can't hack it usually with $4K claimers at Emerald.
