However, No One There Knew That The Place Even Offered Horse Race Betting Or Where You Could Wager. The Maitre'd Even Told Me There Is No Wagering Here. Upon Further Searching I Found About 3 Self Serve Machines. 2 Were Blocked By Assorted Tables And Chairs And Couldnt Be Used. There Was One But No Means Of Buying Any Vouchers. Also There Were Many Nice Overhead Tvs But No Means Of Changing Any Of The Channels And Many Of The Tracks Could Not Even Be Shown. By The Way This Story Is Very Typical Of Many Other Experiences There. All With The Central Theme Of Who Gives A Crap If The Horse Bettor Is Happy
In order to bet simulcasting at gulfstream after the live card is over is to go to the first floor clubhouse. THAT IS THE SIMULCAST AREA ! The restaurant closes after the live racing for a couple of hours and the machines close. The restaurant opens again at night for the slots people. The restaurant has a different crew at night. They should have been able to tell you that you have to go downstairs though to wager, although you could call in your bets for account wagering and have a nice meal which is alot less expensive at night than the afternoon buffet.
