I got to thinking miss andretti breaks the mooney valley track record.
Surely the sire must have cost alot or the dam as these horses are getting faster & faster .
Imagine my surprise after digging to find out how ordernry this mares past is!!!
Expensive sire ? no costs $4400 a serve so will be around the 3k mark
& only won a group race at 10 furlongs (2000 meters )
Expensive dam ? no 1st dam unraced & dams mother was only a standard mare herself in fact you have to go back to 1947 to find a dam that produced a stakes winner !!!

This surely goes to show what a toss up racing is you never know where the next winner will come from !!

Side note; Miss Andretti was first foal to peggie's bid,Peggie's bid was first foal of time to bid

So has to be asked are the horses getting faster or are the tracks gettting faster ??
