The only thing I can figure is that they had 2nd thoughts after Helen Pitts was quoted as saying Einstein would go in a dirt stakes race next out ,instead ot the GPH on turf. I had fully expected that Einstein would defend his title in the GPH on turf, and then Pitts said that. I have since read that she is undecided now between the dirt race and the turf race though. Go figure.
