We all were! I can't get on the Whedonesque site right now but the other sites are reporting it and have the text of his message that he posted there...he was gracious as always but obviously the movie studio folks simply wouldn't allow him to use his vision of the character. I assume that they will have to start the script over from scratch at this point...irregardless, I no longer have an interest in the project. WW is a tough character to do properly...I look for a real mess now!
