I was reading a follow-up article that said when the family took a flight out the next day they doped the kid up on Benedryl. May I ask, why didn't they do that the first time? They admitted they know the kid can be a handful.
And, to try to be a little kind to the kid-- those trips up and down can be very, very painful on the ears. Give the kid Benedryl and let her sleep through it all!
Heck, if Benedryl knocked me out like that I'd pop it the second I got to my seat.
