Gulfstream picks, January 27
Race 1: #5 Kathryn Nicole, was faster than these at Finger Lakes, had troubled trip here 2 weeks ago. #6 Silver Sassy, if you throw out her last 3 (run in a span of 3 weeks), well rested. #9 Unplugged, solid runner stretching back out.
Race 2: #3 Most Distinguished, favorite is most likely winner. #1 Distorted Reality, didn't run much 1st out, but Sciametta/Pletcher's always seem to run on Saturday. #2 Beaming, switches from J Jerkins to Reynolds off solid debut. #6 Luckyallmylife, stretches out for Croll, although you better get 50-1 with Kristi riding.
Race 3: Very evenly matched race, #2 Ancient Myth may be a nice price, #5 Brickell, #7 Sir Jackie, #9 Willard Straight, all solid. #11 United, dangerous off the layoff
Race 4: #8 Joppa Flats, has run well at a mile, coming off an against the bias sprint at Aqueduct, much better than it looks, my longshot special of the day. use with #'s 1, 5 & 6
Race 5: another very competitive race, #11 Warrior Girl stands out slightly, #'s 5, 6 and 8 should run well also.
Race 6: one word: HELP!!! all firsters except #9 Cayuni Waters, who's last was solid.. I have NO IDEA.
Race 7: #13 Leonardo, this one is extremely fast (tgraph zero in last), could be special..
Race 8: this is the tgraph Race of the Week.. #10 Secret Scheme is fast and the right price M/L..
Race 9: agree with Scav's here, #6 May Night and #11 Rich in Spirit are the fastest, throwing in #10 Prop Me Up, should improve 2nd in Florida, was running well when she finally got clear 2 weeks ago
Race 10: also agree with Scav's here, #12 Sweetnorthernsaint, last was just a tightener for this! underneath is a crapshoot.
