He had a great day. Good for him, he deserves it after the sh1tstorm he endured over the Daytime Promise ride last week. Not that it wasn't deserved.
This is what I know about RD based on personal experience
1. He gets the top mounts practically every race.
2. He's ridden for me twice and is a very pleasant, well meaning, hard working jock. I have no problem at all with him or his character, and do not hold any grudges toward him. In fact, he's welcome on any of my mounts in NY.
3. If there is anything critical that I would mention it would be that it seems to find WAY too much trouble for the horses he gets. Not every race, not even the majority of races. But there's definately a noticeable pattern.
The Daytime Promise ride has been beaten into the ground, but is indicative of his riding style.
4. When the inner meet is history and he heads back to the Mid-Atl, many of the jocks that race here daily will face Prado, Gomez, et. al. when they migrate back to NY for the spring. RD will continue to succeed on his home court, and the Eddie Martin's, Channing Hill's and the rest will have to find some one else to bellyache about....
