1st of all,Cocca broke his maiden for M25CL,and he beat horses down the hill that had also broke their maiden in M40CL or less. Most of these did not beat MAIDEN CLAIMERS when they broke their maiden. That being said, horses can find a course etc. that they like, and can improve to face the type he faces in this race. So,the horse is certainly not without a shot.I just think it is a big step up from what he beat.I also want to say that there was something odd about the times down that course that day. There were 2 races down the hill that day. Both winners are in this field.

Cocca ran 21.31, 43.26, 1:06.05, 1:12.38 in beating horses who had all broke their maiden for 40 maiden claiming.

Rush Rush won later down the hill against straight maidens.
21.22, 43.23, 1:06.25, 1:12.04

I'd like to tell you that both these horses can routinely run these times.
The problem is that RUSH RUSH beat Seastate by 3/4 of a length.O.K.,and that horse can not break it's maiden. The way I see it,Cocca ran slower than the pig Seastate.O.K.,so he won down the hill, but I don't think what he did would beat this bunch.I think what RUSH RUSH did later that daywould not beat this bunch. They both need to do better than they did,and there is nothing that says they can't,but I wouldn't use those times on the 18th of October as any kind of measurement. They were simply odd.Seastate would be hard pressed to run a 1:12:1 again.I know that much.I think your horse can run a 44 flat(maybe) down the hill. Will somebody else? I can see the 1 horse doing it.I can see the outlaw horse doing it.I know the Seminole can make a middle move to go with your horse in the middle on.Whether these horses do this is a question. If they don't,your certainly correct.Cocca could be tough. These are tougher..That's my major point.
