Yeah, but logically speaking you would think that they bought him for so much because they figured he would have earned at least some money on the track. That way they could justify a high stallion fee and get nice mares. I would say the fact that the horse did not make it to the races as a 2 year old does not bold well for his racing career. Now this is actually the opposite of the way I usually think, but my assumption was that they figured they could get some blacktype as a juvenile and run up to the 3 year old season and retire, because I cannot imaging the insurance on a horse bought for $16 million or whatever he was really bought for. No races as a juvy and no works really. I'd say he makes maybe a start or two....maybe. This was a pissing match between Coolmore and Godolphin plain and simple.
