Somehow, the pieces just seemed to fall into place for me. I can't explain why - if I could, I'd be able to retire (oh, wait, I already did that

). The race in which I had the greatest confidence was the Silverbulletday, but I couldn't find the winner in that race and couldn't get my ROI exacta array home. In others I had a much lower level of confidence but was fortunate enough to make the right picks. The element of luck enters into the handicapping equation far more than those of us who call ourselves experienced handicappers would like to admit.
I'm looking at the entry lists for next Saturday's races, but I'm pretty sure that the Pegasus Day at Gulfstream will be the best choice, just not the full card.
