It was very tempting to take a shot at the all graded stakes Rainbow Pick 6, but I just couldn't find a race in the sequence on which I could take a stand and single - my ticket just was not going to fit into our budget. I suspect that there will be a carryover today and that the jackpot on the mandatory payout day tomorrow will grow to a very large number.

Just kidding. I don't blame you for that. His last race was a head scratcher for sure. I was hoping that 8 horse would stay in the race to provide an honest pace thinking that maybe Fierceness just didn't get a fast enough pace to prevail last time out.
