Fair Grounds on Saturday provided a lot of chalk but a few spaced out longer priced horses
either derailed some wagers or padded players bankrolls. 4 tickets were cashed with 3
payout slots filled. Real Quiet cashed an exacta but did not show a profit. Digger did hit
his wager on West Omaha and gets the points that go with the show spot. Joly B takes
the place slot by hitting the late pick 5 twice and the payout was a nice $86 for each 50
cent ticket. Creative Cairo started the pick 5 for JB with a stellar $13.20 win price and he
coasted home from there. It just wasn't enough to catch the Rampaging Ruffian who hadn't
been heard from in quite some time. Showing that she hasn't lost her longshot touch Ruff
played Bee Dancer in the 8th race and the win price of $20.80 was enough for a comfortable
win. The payout was not quite up to Ruff's 12-1 or better morning line but a double digit $20+
winner probably suited Ruff just fine. Congrats on the win Ruff at one of your favorite tracks.
