ROI Results 3/25 @ Fair Grounds
A marathon 15 race card at the Fair Grounds yielded two winners and 4 cashed tickets andanother likely Derby starter. Instant Coffee appeared to run on decaf while Kingsbarn had a
double expresso. In the " close but he's no Cigar" were Indian Hemp and Zippy. IH had 4
winners in his Pick 5 wager and a second and the first three horses in a superfecta. It
goes to show how tough a game it is. Zippy had Splitting Aces in the 15th who paid $132.40.
Zip could only get a third with one of his other horses. a 2-8 exacta in that race paid $1472.90 for a
buck. Both horses were moving up substantionally but you could have made a case for them.
Sometimes it's interesting to see what we may have missed. Anyway Cal gets second place
and adds a few bucks to his ROI lead. Cal hit a tri in race 9 worth $12.45 which he had ten
times and an overall profit of $33.50. The days winner however was Joly B. JB also hit a tri
but in race 5 and it paid a nice $16.40 and he had it 20 times. Joly wound up $232 to the good
and got an easy Fair Grounds win. Congrats on the win Joly. Nicely played. Following are the
unofficial results pending a brain cramp by the scorer after handicapping 15 races. And for
Ruff.......goodnight from the Fairgrounds Racetrack. See you next week.
