They say that insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.  That surely applies to horseplayers.  But, here I am again, trying to play an all stakes pick 4 with a bankroll that's probably not large enough to do the wager justice. Always that one horse that you had to leave out that would have made all the difference.  Still, it's a matter of perspective - if successful, it will have been nobly persistent - if a loser, it will have been a case of being tenaciously obstinate.  Here goes:
