I've never seen a big name rider who is less in tune to a bias then Jose Lezcano. The rail has been gold all day. He breaks on top from the two hole. All he has to do is send hard and he clears. Instead he is content sitting 2nd, and of course the pacesetter digs in and outfinishes his horse.
This has happened ALL WINTER. Anytime there is a pronounced bias there, Lezcano has no idea about it. It's just hard for me to understand. How could you do something for decades and still be so clueless about simple concepts of your profession?
