Right now, I'm trying to finish out the Survival at the Shore at Monmouth Park. The contest has two days left and I'm still playing [along with about 465 out of the original 4400]. I'm in 14th place overall with no chance of catching the leaders. Worse than that, I find myself one winner behind the leader in the most winners category, trying to both pick winners and trying to figure out which contender the leader won't pick. The first isn't too grueling, but the latter is mind bending.
An update on my efforts to get the Most Wins title at Survivor at the Shore. No improvement today - still in 2nd place in that cateory, 1 win behind the leader. After contest entries were closed today, the rain came to Monmouth Park and two of the contest races were washed off of the turf. Because of scratches we ended up on the same horses in those two races, scratching into the PTF. In the other one, we both took a 6-1 shot who went off at 5-2 [bad ML] and lost by a nose.

Need to pick up one win on the leader on the final day [and hope those who are just behind don't do even better]. They are using races 7, 9 and 13. Unfortunately, all 3 are turf races, so an afternoon thundershower could become a factor beyond anyone's control. Right now I'm leaning toward Sussex Garden, Pogi and High Limit Room, but I suspect that I'll second guess my choices half a dozen times before tomorrow's 12:15 deadline.
