I've said in the past that our $100 bankroll really isn't large enough to do an adequate job of covering the pick 6 even at $0.20 per bet unless you have a solid single. Pre-scratches I don't see that single in this sequence. A run that might have a punter's chance would be 3x3x3x3x3x2, which costs $97.20. My real issue is with race 8, the only non-stakes race in the group, where I currently have my A and B lists narrowed down to 6 possibles. The only other run that I can see playing involves going 4 deep in race 8, which would allow going 3 deep in three races and 2 deep in the other two. That ticket feels shaky at best but scratches might make things work out. We shall see. |
The 7 in Race 6 might be a single, but there is a lot of speed signed on. The 6 in Race 7 might also be a single, but he is coming off a long lay-off. Race 10 is the tough one to me. 5 or 6 look like they could win it. Don't much like Arklow in the 11th which means he is a surefire winner.
