How do you champion Zenyatta and Songbird and disparage a horse that had a nearly identical record to those (in his US career) save that he didn't duck anyone and he actually ran fast races?
The only hole in his form--if you can call it that--is that his record potentially shows the performance enhancing capabilities of Lasix. His first 4 US races were sans Lasix with an average BSF of 103 or so. The rest of his career with Lasix was about 115. But maybe the speed figure improvement was him simply progressing into peak form (which he maintained thereafter).
