I think you are soooo right! I miss the music from my youth. I don't listen to much except Country nowadays and not much of that, but back in the day, I had a much more eclectic appreciation. I hate to be one of those old curmudgeons that thinks everything was better back in the day, but I really think it was.
And yes I too like Queen. I have to laugh when I hear my
Grandkids sing We Are The Champions. Good music never gets old.
