I guess I was lucky in the marriage department. Only did it once and that proved to be enough. Have two lovely children and that turned out good also. They are good persons without a mean bone in either of their bodies. All though we have a crisis or two occasionally, we seem to work it out eventually and life goes on. At 75 and in my hermit status, I doubt that I will ever have the opportunity for matrimony again, but that's ok. Been there and done that as they say.
Also, that is a thing that you just can't force and expect it to turn out well. It either happens or it doesn't, which is to say, I think I have been awfully lucky and I know more often than not, things don't turn out as good for a lot of people, but that is the stuff that life is made of, it is just not a perfect situation hardly ever.
