Is it difficult to ship to Oaklawn? I thought the same, but west coast horses seem to have made it there with no trouble. From the east, Bill Mott, Todd Pletcher, and Wesley Ward all ran there in the past week with horses that were training in Florida. Overnight there says stakes horses just need permission from the Racing Secretary to ship-in.
There are major restrictions on people coming in from NY and a few other states, but Florida is not one of them. So some of the human connections might need to quarantine for 14 days before being allowed in.
Bob Baffert is only hitting at 50% at Oaklawn this year.
