Typing a simple question is not the same as trying to check scratches
Then making the changes on the board
The problem is not with the points contest
The issue is we are NOT permitted alternates for the ROI
Therefore if one of my horses scratches I lose that ROI wager
Because being up early enough to go to Equibase
then check scratches
then see if any of them are mine
then be able to post the change on the contest board
is difficult considering I am up at 3 AM with the cat
By the time I get back to sleep I sometimes don’t wake up
Early enough to get all that done
I learned early in life it never hurts to ask
The worst thing that can happen is somebody says “NO”
