ROI Results 5/11 @ Belmont
Belmont pitched a shutout this Saturday and it wasn't a baseball game. The best we could
have hoped for was a rainout but we didn't even get that lucky. In the 7th both Plenilune and
Joly put the bat on the ball and gave it a ride but both could only get it to the warning track
and there was no joy in Mudville that day. Plen had a $50 win bet on Homerique and JB
caught the trifecta but neither could show a profit. The rest of us just tore uo our tickets
and everybody started looking toward the Preakness. Following are the unofficial results
pending a review by our stewards. See you all next week in Maryland. Sounds like a good
day for crabcakes.
