Given that it's generally more lucrative, prestigious, valuable etc to win major dirt races, I think it's logical to keep her on the dirt and try to win a couple of the major races for 3 yo fillies. If she gets beat a couple of times and starts to look like she isn't a division leader on the dirt, then go back to the turf where she'll probably excel. The turf is always there as an option. Similar situation to Barbaro. All things equal, it's much more meaningful to win the Kentucky Oaks or the Alabama versus the American Oaks or the Del Mar Oaks.
Calabrese has balls the size of a elephant so don't be surprised if she has a good spring to see her in the Kentucky Derby, and not the Oaks
