Default 2/1: Santa Anita (6th-9th)

SANTA ANITA

POST-SCRATCHES

6th: MCLM/$40k, 3yo-F, 1m (P4, P3, DD, Hi-5)

Bad bunch with 2 faves that appear very vulnerable to any of the jump up candidates..

Best Value: #3 American Falls 10-1 3rd
Next Best: #5 True Validity 8-5 2nd
Exotics Use: #8 Palm d'Oro 12-1 6th
Super Add: #7 Queen of the Track 5-2 5th

7th: OC/N1X, 3yo-F, 1m-T (P3, DD, Hi-5)

Has the trappings of a sophomore group with lots of upside including 1st No. America start from Cavernnchipmunks (Red Barons/D'Amato) and last out MDN-breaker Truffalino who needs pace to chase. Talented Lady Prancelot gets class relief today having run into endless trouble in her 4 U.S. starts. Remember that Baltas lauded her last summer on ATR. Sold It (War Front) returns to lawn and may control things on the point. Good event..

Most Likely: #2 Cavernndchipmunks 4-1 7th
Best Value: #4 Truffalino 5-1 2nd
Next Best: #6 Lady Prancelot 5-2 WON ($5.40)
Exotics Use: #1 Sold It 7-2 4th

8th: ALW/N1X, 4+, 1m (DD, Hi-5)

Solomini didn't run badly in the Malibu and has drilled notably since. 3X G1 placed Curlin/Surf Song colt reunites with Prat and may be preparing to fully capitalize on potential..

Most Likely: #7 Solomini 9-5 3rd
Next Best: #5 Kylemore 5-2 Gate SCR
Exotics Use: #8 Super Duper Cooper 6-1 5th
Super Add: #2 Show Me Da Lute 8-1 4th

9th: CLM/N3L, 4+, 6.5f-OFF/TURF (Hi-5)

Most Likely: #4 Buckys Pick 5-1 4th
Best Value: #7 Fast Cotton 6-1 2nd
Next Best: #6 Zestful 4-1 5th
Exotics Use: #3 Hey Sequoia 6-1 3rd

P4 Grid:

6: 3-5-8 (A), 1-6-7 (B), - (C)
7: 2-4-6 (A), 1 (B), 7-9 (C)
8: 7 (A), 5/SCR (B), - (C)
9: 4-7 (A), 6 (B), 1-3 (C)

Simple (A+B): 6x4x2x3 = 144 x .50 = $72
All A's: 3x3x1x2 = $18 ($9 for .50)

Good luck!
Steve
