What a difference the blinkers made for Mendelssohn.
After laying an egg @ Doncaster,AOB added the blinks in the Dewhurst and voila...........brand spanking new horse.
Amazingly in two races[not counting the prep] the 3 mill. spent on the Beholder half now seems like money well spent.
But which way to go in the Derby ?
Positive: Unlike the other Dubai Derby shippers before him,Mendelssohn has already shipped to the states and won.
Negative: Betting on horses who cashed in on a strong track bias in their next race is usually a recipe for disaster.
Tough call.....
