Welcome to the forum. We're delighted that you will be joining in the contest this Saturday. Please don't worry about handicapping skills - all of us have had some very good days and some that were, well, not so good. I've been following the ponies for a number of years, and still feel as if I'm learning something new about this sport every day. It can be both baffling and rewarding.
I will be posting the two threads on which the contest choices are to be made by this time tomorrow. One of them will be for the Points contest and the other for the ROI contest. The entry deadline will be the post time for our first contest race, which on Saturday will be 12:30 PM Eastern since we will only be playing Races 3 through 12 at Gulfstream Park.
I would recommend that you take a look at the way that players have posted their picks for the Points and ROI contests for previous weeks. You can do that by scrolling down to those threads just a bit below.
By the way, one of our traditions is that the weekly winner of the points contest gets to select the venue for the following week.
