Venue for February 25
This coming Saturday I'd like to take us to the Big Easy for Louisiana Derby Preview Day at the Fair Grounds.
The advance information suggests that they will have a 12 race card that includes 6 stakes races, including the Mineshaft, Rachel Alexandra and Fair Grounds Handicap and culminating in the Grade 2 Risen Star, the key prep for the Louisiana Derby.
I believe that we can expect a first post of 12:30 PM Central time, but will post final information once entries are available.
