[Real Quiet]

The sun was shining on two players Saturday at Gulfstream. For the rest of us the day
resembled soggy Santa Anita on Sunday. Don cashed a ticket to no avail but it was one
of only three trips to the cashiers window. Plenilune gets second place and some points
with a win wager on He's the One and he was to the tune of $7.20 for each deuce and a
total return of $180. As a "ute" I remember watching Walter Blum and Bobby Ussery ride
at NY and NJ. Somehow, someway the gate would spring open and those two would
fire out of the gate like twin rockets and more often than not would open daylight on the
field. More often that not they would harness that speed and win their races on the front
end. Roamin did just that on Saturday. Before any of us could blink Roamin outbroke
the field in race one, opened up on the rest of us and sailed home an easy winner.
Roamin played April Rose in the first and got back a stellar win price of $22.20 and
an $1110 total return for his second $1000 profit for the season. Congrats on the win
