It's annoying but you know it's coming (they are coming back from the replays of the previous race and then the commercial and it's already just "11" MTP).
In New York, for example, a 2:20 post means you better have your bet in by 2:19. But everyone knows that too.
Gulfstream could change if they wanted to - it would take one weekend of recognizing their actual post times and the problem would go away. They choose not to, which is their right, and again, we all know what the deal is. (edit - should add...they probably think they make a lot more money by doing it this way but I just think it's the way they trained their players.)
Maybe I am wrong about this but I feel it gets a bit worse now that the days are longer and they don't have to rush to beat sunset. It won't be as bad for the Pegasus, and I guess their Derby preps if they are on TV (not TVG but NBC or NBCSN).
