John Nerud
John Nerud is always an interesting guest on ATRAB. He commented on Monday's show that horses with small hooves may not be able to sucessfully compete on polytrack as they do not have the bigger 'turf foot" that is successful on the grass.
He also questioned whether tracks would continue to maintain turf courses in the future due to cost considerations since polyturf and grass offer similiar surfaces.
