I thought Beholder won live based on visual (as they hit wire) and Stevens and Smith reactions, which were definitive. Then all the fotogs that were past the wire called 'inside' when they checked their view finders. Seconds later when they played the slo-mo, it seemed clear that Beholder edged her.
Was simply unbelievable. Everything you hoped for in a confrontation of unbeaten sophomore champion and grizzled Hall of Fame mare in her final start.
