Stroll into the Hotel bar passing Ron Ellis and pull up a seat at the bar. Intending to have a beer and a quick dinner. A guy asks if the seat next to me is open and I say sure. He orders his drink Jameson and Ginger and I let out a good cackle. He immediately knows why I laughed. We get to chatting and sure enough he is part owner of Jameson and Ginger. We swap war stories about horse ownership both of us having horror stories but he caught a break. Nice guy from Long Island and I will be rooting him on.
