Can see Pennsylvania jumping on this bandwagon. No interest from Casino in a good racing product. High takeout and pillage of Breeder's funds by pols. All outside interests making sure to make product fail. Then show it's a losing proposition. Great contrast is Sal Sinatra who was hired in MD and has made stand alone racing a profit. Am sure there is heavy lobbying in PA to de-couple. Then poof goes racing industry.

Have to realize that many of the casino owners, CDI most included, are touting the "dying industry" of racing. It is going to die if you're killing it.

I see more new, young fans all the time. They are captivated by the parimutuel system and competitiveness. They like the idea of doing their homework and getting ahead. I think we have have a good young group running behind us.

I don't think horse racing is a dying industry. Quite the opposite. It's something of quite the allure, which is special. It's different and anybody who gets involved in it stays involved.

In my lifetime, I expect some businesses to fail. I don't expect horse racing to fail. Be different, maybe, but still always be there.
