The two are not mutually inclusive. In this instance, he completely quit on a favorite and got beat because of it. I don't know if it had anything to do with whether he was drunk or not, but regardless, he should have gotten days and / or been fined for the ride.
If he had pulled that sh1t in Europe he'd have been out of work for 6 months.
I didn't have a dime on the race but we all know It's difficult enough to be successful as a bettor
when they follow the rules.... to watch a multirace ticket get blown up by a 86.00 horse that should not have been within 3 lengths of him because of the jockey....I get exactly where Joey's coming from - I would not bet a cent there either.
