I've been breathing that "nice warm and humid New England air" for some time now and it hasn't done a d**n thing for my handicapping.
RQ will confirm that I haven't made a penny in the ROI for a couple of months now. I did share the prize in Steve's $24 trifecta contest on Saturday, so it's not all bad.
I think that Saratoga is still running; it IS the August place to be. They have a couple of semi-historic stakes races on Saturday and I've heard that all of the folks who let you park your car on their front lawn are adding another zero to the advertised price. Must be expecting a big crowd for something special.
