My favorite wager is the Pick 5. Just like you, I don't follow the A-B-C methodology. I rate each race in the sequence 1 thru 5. 1 being the most likely race to run to form with 5 being the most wide open. I then try to stay slim on the 1's and 2's and then spread accordingly. Thanks for the Dave Kingman reference! My favorite player growing up on Long Island.
