the national media did not take pot-shots at Miami when Schiano, a coach at Rutgers (with Miami ties) turned them down like they did when Coach Rod turned Bama down...it's like they have an agenda against us. Also, Miami, with a higher hispanic population wanted Coach Rod as well, but he only listened to us. I agree they should get an NFL guy as the remaining "hot" college guys don't impress me either. But that would mean waiting about 4-5 weeks at the very least, while the solid recruiting class Shula lined up is dropping by the hour without a head coach in place.
