The only robot dog I knew as a kid was K9 from "Doctor Who." Even back then I was a PBS nerd...
Okay, also I was a fan of "Buck Rogers" (for the first season, anyway) because I wanted to be Wilma Deering when I grew up.
I like the new "BSG" because now I want to be Starbuck when I grow up!
Richard Hatch (the original Apollo) has a great recurring character on the new BSG. He's a much better actor now than he was back then. Though his haircut is exactly the same.
