To each their own - the other format represents the majority of contests and of course there is nothing wrong with it. I have played both myself.

Just to be clear though - there should not be any advantage for more well off players. Everyone starts with the same $100 bankroll and you cannot add to it any other way than by winning. I think it's the unlimited play that gives the contest its appeal, since, yes, you can amass a greater bankroll and improve your chance of winning a cash prize, but that comes at the expense of increased risk - as it always does with gambling.

Borgata's format is live bankroll and limited bullets. I've never seen the opposite: fictitious bankroll and unlimited play, but I would try it.
