M5 pays $79,200

$50,000, $60,000 and now $80,000 three of the 4 weeks... ($1,000 the other).

WOW

You had to have a big ticket to get that! Thats the kind of ticket that takes about ten people to make it affordable!

Man that's huge. I have to start playing that thing.

It really is a cool bet in that you get it over with in an hour. You dont have to sit around for 4 or 5 hours to see if you won or lost. Usually just minutes, very hard to hit with Golden Gate and Laurel thrown in there.

Glad I am not interested in this bet. Betting alot of different tracks during the winter when you don't have a handle on how the tracks are playing to me is utter futility. And I am an avid P3/p4 player.

As it stands , after yesterday and today on track. they can take Magna and flush. I have never been so rudely treated at a race track. My buddy who has been tracking for 50 odd years at all venues and is an owner for many, many years, was upset as well, and that takes some doing !! I'm still seething , after I had to loudly insult the manager of the Seranata room, sarcasticly thanking him for Magnas' hospitality in treating its customers, by demanding customers order a drink in a room with no stated minimums to sit there when it was cold outside and then told everyone they had to leave in a printed sheet by 5:15PM and then at 4pm told all they had to leave then. Total crap ! Yesterday was even worse. This place has no soul. It still manages to alienate core customers .

It's the "thoroughbred lottery"... different tracks, stake races mixed with cheap claimers... I can see why the payouts are so great.

The first week was makeable up until Mcanns Mojave at 33-1 got us on the last leg (Sunshine Millions)...Gilchrist's horse in the fisrt SA leg ( thanks Steve!) got the ball rolling....Had the 973.00 the week Trombetta won the first leg and was knocked out with Contessa @ 14-1 in the first leg last week....

I have slept since then and have lost interest in this bet

If you can get in the first week when they run the dual coast Sunshine Millions, it not so bad....by now it's a lottery ticket

last year it was very hittable on several weeks...usually paying in the $2000 -6000 range. Bigger fields this year at santa anita, plus competitive races at laurel have made it super tough so far.
