Thanks for posting this... he's a nice colt.

Danzig 02-16-2007 11:57 AM

Amen, Deb. I love his pedigree... would have made too much sense for him to end up standing over in this country.

brockguy 02-16-2007 11:58 AM

always looked like 12f would suit him

Sightseek 02-16-2007 11:59 AM

This is going to be one heck of a Dubai World Cup with Premium Tap, Discreet Cat and Invasor.

dont forget Kandidate.

Gander 02-16-2007 12:12 PM

With all due respect Cajun, he is a lot better than a nice colt. He is one of the best horses in training and will show everybody just how good he is when he beats Invasor and I run 4 times a year Cat.

slotdirt 02-16-2007 12:32 PM

Gander's post just got me thinking about how tired I am of horses with "cat" in their name. I wouldn't be surprised to see fourtimesayearcat running in the near future.

Gander 02-16-2007 12:38 PM

fourtimesayearcat

I think they are all running next in the Dubai World Cup and I doubt any will have another prep, but I could be wrong. Its the last weekend of March and horses just dont run that often anymore.
I think its Premium Tap's coming out party, I really do.

The Indomitable DrugS 02-16-2007 12:40 PM

Premium Tap has already had his "coming out party."

If it wasn't an excellent 3rd, while never that far off a very strong pace in the Classic, it was certainly his overpowering win in the Clark.

FourtimesayearCat will toy with him

Gander 02-16-2007 12:53 PM

Talking about a worldwide stage. The Clark was a mediocre field and so was the Whitney.

Its go time. When he beats the other 2 best horses in training, he'll be a household name. Doh!

eajinabi 02-16-2007 01:14 PM

I just look at that results chart and man it must be hell calling those names out.

slotdirt 02-16-2007 01:14 PM

Oh no, I'm thinking someone will name a horse "Fourtimesayearcat" with the Jockey Club. I mean, we have Catdoggone, Sweet Catomine, Catenius (???), Cat Thief, Catability, Cataclysmic, Cataloushe, Catamaran. Why not fourtimesayearcat?

Gander 02-16-2007 01:16 PM

I agree, too many damn cats. I hate cats personally. Much prefer dogs and you seldom see a horse with Dog in it. Running Dog is one, but I cant think of any others.

Too many names with "money" in the name too. How dull. I notice Richy Violette trains a lot of horses that are named after the stock market and money.

The Ramseys are the worst with the cat or kitty names....

Gander 02-16-2007 01:30 PM

I dont know what you are talking about, I hate cats.
