Tampa Sunday/Pick 4

Lets give it another whirl, althought not crazy about the last 2 races.

Race 6 - MSW Turf 1 Mile

#2 FORBIDDEN DAY 4-1ML - Nice middle move in last when making his turf debut. Should move forward off that race and like the 7 panel jog on Wednesday.

#3 SUPAH SOUP 8-1ML - Cibelli having a stellar meet (29% winners). Intriguing turf breeding on top. Also the great NGLFFM angle.

#9 MONT JULEPS 5-2ML - NY shipper goes first out for Brian Baker (any kin to Charlton Baker???) Using, but beatable at a short price.

#8 OYSTER SLEW 20-1ML - Got a feeling.....might be gas, but still got a feeling. Rhone 21% second start.

Race 7 - CLM25K 6 Furlongs

#3 LOOKINGFORTHESECRET 4-1ML - Ness 41% first claim...unreal stats. 5YO owns 3 wins in 5 races over Tampa main. Hot jock sees fit.

#6 STYLISHLY 10-1ML - 3rd off....cuts back 1 panel...JJ may send and not look back.

#7 DANGEROUS GUY 3-1ML - "Move Early" Mike should get great stalking position on inside speed, but I question his timing.

RACE 8 - CLM16KN2L 6 Furlongs

#4 MOUNTAIN GOLD 4-1ML - Turns back and 3rd off. A win and a place showing at this distance.

RACE 9 - ALWN1X Turf 1 Mile

#1 PLATINUM MEDALLION 5-1ML - Only 3 time winner in the race. Should have pace to close into after saving ground early.

#6 BARLEY SUGAR 7-2ML - Another that will be heard from late.

#2 FURIOUS FEVER 15-1ML - Trainer switch noted...should make big difference. 3 for 4 ITM over Tampa weeds. SURPRISE PACKAGE!!

#7 FLORIDA BOY 4-1ML - Lightly race WAR CHANT not beaten multiple times like others in this race. Still has room to improve and should be fitter 2nd off.

2,3,8,9/
3,6,7/
4/
1,2,6,7

$48 for $1

All the best,
Kev:cool:

T3B, I'm gonna give it a shot as well.

I really like #2 Forbidden Day in the 6th. He ran a big race two weeks ago that included a brutal stretch drive. He was all over the course and still managed to finish 2nd. A duplicate of that effort and the rest are running for 2nd.

Race 6 - PK4 - 2 with 1 3 7 with 2 4 5 with 5 6 7 10 = $36 for a buck play. Also, I will play a $10 PK3 starting in race 5 - 3 with 2 with 1 = Blastoff = $10

Good Racing Luck

Okay boys. I don't usually like to single at Tampa (too many wacky things happen here to single), but here goes....

6 - 2,4,9
7 - 1,2,3,5,6,7,9
8 - 4,5
9 - 11

3x7x2x1 = $42

In the 9th, the 11-Tiz Stormin draws in off the AE list. His dirt Beyers dwarf everyone else's turf Beyers in this race. Toss his two turf trys as he was still learning this game. Has enough tactical speed so the post shouldn't hurt too much. Trainer switch to Tom Proctor never hurts and the gelding has the NLFFM factor...

Since they are off the turf, this makes the single even more appealing to me.

This is a 1/4 redboard (since the 4 has just gotten up), but i played:

$1 Pick-4 2,4,9,WT,1,3,WT,4,5,6,WT,6,10,11

Good luck to all!

Have I mentioned before that I hate N2L's in a P4 sequence?

yeah...and that was the reason I mentioned it in the original thread. I'd rather have a race full of first time starters.

Since I have singled the 11 in my doubles does the reverse NGLFFM angle come into effect. i.e. The choking of the chalk?

I hit it for $630.

Not too bad. I think I am almost even for 2007 now. I am trying to keep track more acurately this year and be positive.
